TheÂ three-week course (9 ECTS)Â of the 2016 edition will cover the following areas.Â Week 1Â introduces basic epidemiological concepts and study designs, and covers the fundamentals of statistical methods in epidemiology.Â Week 2Â covers case-control studies in-depth, introduces the common regression models in epidemiology (logistic, Cox, Poisson) and gives students the opportunity to practice the analysis of epidemiological datasets using the Stata statistical package.Â Week 3Â offers a choice of modules: advanced topics in statistical analysis, advanced topics in epidemiology, environmental epidemiology, clinical epidemiology, reproductive epidemiology, genetic epidemiology, personalized public health, causal mediation analysis, risk communication and epidemiology.
